A message from the Chairman:

Thank you for your interest in the Blount County Young Republicans! Our mission is simple: to involve the youth of Blount County in aiding the Republican Party and its candidates and to spread Republican ideals throughout the community. This means working on campaigns for our Republican officials, holding meetings and rallies to energize and encourage a strong base of support, and, most of all, it means voting.

Historically, young people have either been seen as politically irrelevant or traditionally liberal. We are often portrayed (and sometimes accurately so) as vocal demographic but one that never manages to make it to the polls on election day. It’s time to change these views, and the Blount County Young Republicans intend to do just that. I hope that you will join me in working for a brighter future for our generation of Blount Countians, one that can only be realized through strong conservative leadership today.
